Encarna Soto is a Senior Paralegal at BomhardIP. She has been involved in EU trade mark work since 1996 and Community design work since 2003. Encarna has extensive experience in application, opposition, cancellation, recordal and appeal proceedings before the EUIPO (formerly OHIM), prosecuting International Trade mark Registrations and dealing with WIPO, managing litigation before the General Court in Luxembourg, trade mark clearance and portfolio management.
Before joining the world of trade marks, Encarna worked for many years as a multilingual secretary in Spanish and International companies.
Apart from her native Spanish, Encarna is fluent in English, German and Catalan.
