BomhardIP is a law firm specialising in Intellectual Property Law, which started business in Alicante on 1 March 2015. With attorneys from six different jurisdictions and a team of multilingual paralegals, we render high-level European and Spanish IP services to our clients, both global players and small enterprises. Our EU law experts focus on EU trademarks and designs, on pan-European brand protection and enforcement strategies, alternative dispute resolution and multi-jurisdictional clearance searches. Founding partner Verena von Bomhard has been dedicating her professional endeavours to EU trademarks since late 1995, making her probably the outside counsel with most cumulative hours of EUTM experience. With over 70 proceedings before the General Court and nine before the Court of Justice of the European Union in Luxembourg, also in this area we are among the most experienced.

Our Spanish department headed by Inmaculada González advises on all areas of Intellectual Property. We have extensive experience in clearing and registering trademarks and designs, and advise also on patents, utility models, plant varieties, IP licencing, technology transfer and copyright issues, as well as in unfair competition matters, data protection, e-commerce and entertainment law. Inmaculada González is an experienced litigator and has handled numerous IP infringement and invalidity proceedings before the Spanish Courts, as well as opposition proceedings before the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office.

We advise clients in many industries including food and beverages, personal care, healthcare and crop science, toys, fashion, sports, financial and technology.
