Altea Baltanás

Altea is a jurist at BomhardIP and assists across the full range of the legal questions we deal with.

Altea grew up in Munich and attended the European School there. She studied law in the UK and in Germany. As part of her studies, she obtained an English and German Law LL.B. from King’s College London and an LL.M. in European Law and Comparative Law from the Humboldt University of Berlin. She then decided to specialise in IP law by undertaking an LL.M. in Intellectual Property (Magister Lvcentinvs) at the University of Alicante. Right now, Altea is taking steps to convert her English law degree into a Spanish law degree in order to access the Spanish bar.

Altea joined BomhardIP first as a trainee, and a few months later as a jurist. Before that, she gained practical experience as a trainee at a Spanish IP firm in Madrid, with a focus on Spanish and European IP law.

Besides her native Spanish and Valencian, she is fluent in German and English. In her free time, Altea enjoys spending time at the beach, whether it is on a walk or (weather permitting) taking a dip in the sea.
