Flora is an associate at Bomhard IP. She handles all kinds of proceedings before the EUIPO and assists clients with protection and enforcement of their trademarks and designs on EU level.
Prior to joining Bomhard IP, Flora practiced in an IP boutique firm in Athens, Greece, specializing in trademarks, in particular, infringement proceedings and oppositions, as well as unfair competition. Before that, she completed a one-year traineeship at the Boards of Appeal of the EUIPO, working as a legal assistant drafting appeal decisions on relative and absolute grounds for refusal of trademarks, and co-authoring reports for the EUIPO Coherence and Consistency Project concerning harmonization of trademark law on European Union level. Before moving into IP, Flora already gained some experience as an attorney in a general practice firm in Athens.
Flora studied law in Greece and was admitted to the Greek Bar in 2016. She holds an LL.M. in Intellectual Property Law from Queen Mary University of London, awarded to her with distinction. In addition to Greek, she speaks fluent English and is currently improving her Spanish.
Apart from work, Flora is interested in photography, contemporary art, and architecture.
