Athanasia Giannopoulou

Athanasia is an associate at BomhardIP with over 5 years of experience in trademark and design law. She handles all kinds of proceedings before the EUIPO and assists clients with a strategic approach to the protection and enforcement of their trademarks.

Her experience also encompasses multijurisdictional trademark clearance. Athanasia began her legal career at a law firm in Athens. Prior to joining BomhardIP, she worked for four years as a Trademark and Design Examiner at the EUIPO’s Operation Department dealing with examination and cancellation proceedings relating to both trademarks and designs.

Athanasia is a registered lawyer at the Athens Bar Association. She holds an LL.M. in European and International Intellectual Property Law from the University of Strasbourg. Apart from her native Greek, she is fluent in English, French and proficient in Spanish.
