Inmaculada González ist Of Counsel bei BomhardIP. Sie hat über 18 Jahre Erfahrung in der Beratung zum Recht des Gewerblichen Rechtschutzes und in der gerichtlichen Durchsetzung von Marken, Patenten und Urheberrechten. Auch zum Recht des Unerlaubten Wettbewerbs hat sie umfangreich beraten, sie im Bereich des Datenschutzes und der neuen Technologien.
Inmaculada González hat an der Universität Barcelona zum Gebrauchsmusterrecht promoviert und an der LMU München einen LL.M. erworben. Während ihrer drei Jahre als Doktorant am Max Planck Institut in München arbeitete sie auch als Wissenschaftlerin mit der Unterstützung des Forschungsfonds der Europäischen Patentorganisation. Dadurch erwarb sie vertiefte Kenntnisse unter anderem im spanischen und deutschen Patentrecht sowie im Bereich der Gemeinschaftsgeschmacksmuster.
Neben zahlreichen Artikeln in Fachzeitschriften zum Gewerblichen Rechtschutz hat Inmaculada González ein Buch zum Gebrauchsmusterschutz in der Europäischen Union veröffentlicht (in spanischer Sprache). Neben ihrer anwaltlichen Tätigkeit unterrichtet sie im Rahmen diverser Masterprogramme im Bereich des Gewerblichen Rechtschutzes, darunter an der Universität Barcelona (ESADE) und an der Universität Alicante (Magister Lucentinus). Ferner ist sie Lehrbeauftragte an der Katholischen Universität Valencia.
Inmaculada González hält zahlreiche Vorträge in ihrem Fachgebiet und ist ein aktives Mitglied des European Intellectual Property Teacher’s Network (EIPTN). Ferner ist sie Mitglied bei ECTA, INTA, GRUR und AIPPI.
Neben ihrer Muttersprache Spanisch beherrscht sie die deutsche und englische Sprache fließend.
Inmaculada ist verheiratet und hat zwei Söhne. In Ihrer Freizeit produziert sie Schauspielstücke und nimmt auch gerne selbst daran teil.
